Robert Gillespie

Rob earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Montana in 1995 and then went on the receive his Master of Physical Therapy in 2001. He has been working as a physical therapist in Missoula for over 20 years. His treatment philosophy is based on restoring posture, motor planning, and integration (Posture restoration, Feldenkrais, Pilates, and Tai Chi) to reduce pain and improve tolerance to daily, sport, and work activities. Rob utilizes manual therapy (Joint mobilization/manipulation, massage, trigger point release, muscle energy techniques, and functional dry needling) to improve joint range of motion, tissue extensibility, and pain-free motion. Rob also has a special interest in gait/running analysis for improved form and efficiency to prevent injury.
